When will Love Island season 4 premiere?

Love Island USA is back for more this summer, with Season 4 premiering on July 19, 2022.

However, the show will no longer be on cable TV.

After three entire seasons on CBS, Love Island made the decision to move his show to NBC’s streaming site: Peacock

As a result, the steamy show will be available to stream six days a week – instead of the usual five.

Why was the show moved to NBC?

Love Island has secured a season 4 and 5 with NBC’s Peacock, according to US Weekly

Due to the steamy nature of the show, it was time for a platform that could handle the scenes fans ultimately craved.

“Love Island is a highly addictive dating format that is ready for a streaming service like Peacock, where we can push boundaries and bring viewers steamy and dramatic twists and turns,” said executive vice president of unscripted entertainment content Jenny Groom in a Feb. press release

“The series took pop culture by storm after the British format found fans around the world, and we’re excited to bring an all-new version to Peacock this summer.”

Love Island USA touched on slightly more naughty content during season 3but was unable to broadcast those scenes on cable TV.

As a result, Season 3’s grittier clips will be uploaded to Paramount+ for fans who want to binge-watch before the Season 4 premiere.

“For Paramount+ you get some extra steam,” said former presenter Arielle Vandenberg Us Weekly in June 2021.

“So if there’s one thing we couldn’t show on the air, it’s on Paramount+. So there are also a lot of fun, new, exciting things to watch.”
