Gemma and Luca took their romance to the next level when their fellow islanders nominated them to spend a night alone together in the shelter.
The 19-year-old piled up to nine in a sexy black number to join Luca (in his boxers and hoodie) for a special evening, which surely made football icon Michael hide behind his hands.
Although it does not look like Gemma and Luca (23) did the deed, there was definitely an atmosphere, with the two concluding the evening up close and kissing in bed.
On Twitter to respond, fans joked that Michael would “in tears” see his teenage daughter crawling her lover in lace underwear, with one teasing that he would ‘call’ Ofcom to complain.
“Close your eyes, brother,” one viewer tweeted to the footballer, writing another: “I know Michael Owen told ITV not to put the whole track out of hiding.”
“I know Michael Owen is sick now,” one tweeted.
Another wrote: “I really hope not to see Michael Owen tonight.”
However, not everyone was here for the comments, with several saying that the father of four did not ‘own’ his children.
‘I hate all these Michael Owen jokes about Gemma’s sexuality. We are all s **** rend and we all have dads. This is not the Middle Ages, fathers do not own their daughters. It’s never done on the guys, one person tweeted.
Another person wrote: ‘I do not understand the comment that says Michael Owen should beat Luca. Does he NOT OWN his daughter? ‘.
It was not the first time that Gemma and Luca came close and personal to the villa, as they raised eyebrows at home on Wednesday with a bit of toe-action.
It would be and understatement to say viewers were horrified when they saw the fish farmer playfully sucking on Gemma’s toes in bed, suggesting that it was just not ‘acceptable’ for manufacturers to air.
On the other hand, the audience embraced Gemma’s flirtatious side as she jokingly opened her towel and Luca later flashed, leaving him dizzy after seeing her bare chest as he showered outside.
The couple has gone from strength to strength in recent weeks, with Gemma even suggesting that she could see herself falling in love with Luca.
