LOVE Island’s Gemma Owen won’t let her famous soccer player dad, Michael, wear any of her swimwear.
The 19 year old dressage ride launched OG Beachwear during the first Covid lockdown in 2020 and insists dad Michael wear none of it.
“Well, apparently I tried wearing some of the shorts and she said, ‘No dad bods,'” Michale said on the Walking The Dog podcast.
Gemma added: “He’s been banned.” added Gemma.
Michael continued: “I’m banned – ‘no dad bods in my shorts’. I’m willing to place a large order, but she still says ‘no’.”
Gemma is the eldest of former Liverpool and Real Madrid star Michael’s four children with childhood sweetheart Louise Bonsall.
Her father, now 42, shot to global superstardom in 1998 when, at the age of 18, he scored a miracle goal for England against Argentina during the World Cup.
He also played for Newcastle, Manchester United and Stoke before retiring from football in 2013.
Gemma – who enjoy a jet-setting life – has forged her own successful career as a Team GB dressage champion and wants to be the next Kylie Jenner.
Gemma said: “I would like to continue with my company that I just started. It’s called OG Beachwear.
“I’ll be wearing a few bits in the villa, it’s a small collection at the moment.
“I really like the Kardashians, I watch them on TV and I follow them on social media.
“I think they’re all good, powerful business women, what they’ve created for themselves is really inspiring, I’m a huge fan. Who wouldn’t want to be a billionaire like Kylie?”
Michael is not allowed to wear Gemma’s swimwear, it is not the only place where he has been banned.

Luca, 23 years oldhas only been accused of doing something to her after finding out that she is the daughter of the multimillionaire soccer player.
During their date, Luca joked that he wouldn’t be able to “kick a ball” with the same skill as Gemma’s father Michael.
Gemma complimented her partner from across the table: “You have the same humor as my father to be honest.”
He replied, leaving her laughing awkwardly at Michael’s passing statement, “If only I could kick a ball as much as he can.”
Fans noted that neither of them used Michael’s name in the exchange, leading them to speculate that it was banned.
