Two drug dealers who have run a large methamphetamine business from public housing in the northern suburbs of Wellington will lose about $ 1 million worth of cash and assets.

Stephen Albert Bruns, 52, and William Alan Burkeland, 50, were senior members of Mongrel Mob, who lived just a short walk from Cainga Ora’s home in Linden.

When police attacked them in 2017, they found $ 511,735 hidden in various locations. An additional $ 300,470 was found in mobile homes.

Brance was sentenced to 14 years and 6 months in prison in 2018 as responsible for the surgery, which was estimated to handle about 1 kg of methamphetamine per week at his height.
