A MAN has been sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of clubbing his pregnant woman dead.
Beau Rothwell31, was found guilty in April of first degree murder in the death of his 28-year-old wife Jennifer Rothwellwho was six weeks pregnant.

On Friday, a judge sentenced Beau Rothwell to life in prison with no chance of parole.
During his sentencing hearing, Rothwell apologized to Jennifer’s family and said he thinks about her “every day.”
However, he would later tell the judge that he planned to appeal the verdict after it was handed down, the report said St. Louis after shipment.
At trial, Rothwell took the stand, admitting that he beat his wife to death with a hammer in November 2019 at their home in Missouri.
He also had the responsibility of dumping her body in the woods and taking several steps to cover up the murder, including cleaning up the crime scene and participating in the search for Jennifer.
However, he claimed that he killed Jennifer in a “red haze” of rage during an argument over an affair he was having, unsuccessfully seeking a conviction for manslaughter rather than first degree murder.

Jennifer’s naked body was found about 75 miles from her home.
Before she went missing, Jennifer had searched the internet on her cell phone for “what to do if your husband is upset that you are pregnant,” police said.

It was also revealed that Rothwell had made a pros and cons list about his affair before killing his wife.
Among the pluses on the list were “better sex life”, “more respect” and “new start”.
The cons included “half my assets/money,” “trust shaken/shattered,” “my family’s disappointment,” and “stand up to her kid with his problems.”
Rothwell, however, claimed at his trial that the fatal feud wasn’t about Jennifer’s pregnancy, which he was happy about, but about his affair.
He said Jennifer insisted on knowing who Rothwell was having an affair with, and when he refused to reveal her identity, Jennifer said her pregnancy was the result of an affair with another man.
Rothwell’s mistress came forward after seeing news reports that Jennifer was missing and showed police messages between them.
A Facebook post said, “Part of me wants this pregnancy to fail.”
Another read, “If there’s a miscarriage or something, I’ll leave her after that and be with you.”
