A man died last week after a serious car accident in Tauranga.
Police attended the accident on Welcome Bay Road just before 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 23.
The 53-year-old male driver was in serious condition in hospital and died Friday afternoon surrounded by his family, police said in a statement.
