“He’s a nuisance – will this be on TV?” Man holding a cigarette while riding a scooter gives Newsnight his sharp verdict on Boris – as viewers demand that he and his friend become prime minister and chancellor instead
- Boris Johnson quit his role as prime minister after 59 MPs left
- Man appeared in the Newsnight program on Thursday about the resignation of the prime minister
- He described Mr Johnson as a ‘pain in the a**e’ and said he wants Boris to ‘go away’
This is the hilarious moment one man Boris Johnson described as a ‘pain in the a**e’ for a BBC TV reporter.
On Thursday night’s Newsnight program, a reporter wanted to speak to the public and so took to the streets of Reading to see what people thought of Boris Johnson’s firing.
Boris Johnson finally announced his departure from his role yesterday. In a statement in Downing Street, the prime minister tried to strike a cheerful note as he confirmed that his MPs ‘clearly’ want change and that his term will end when a new Tory leader is installed.
Newsnight editor Sima Kotecha went to Reading West’s conservative fringe seat to get a sense of the atmosphere after the resignation.
Mrs. Kotecha stops the man on the scooter, with a cigarette hanging from his mouth, introduces herself and asks, ‘What do you think of Boris Johnson resigning today?’

Then the image comes to his friend, who says of Boris: ‘He’s an idiot. He can’t do anything right. Will this be on TV?’
Hilariously, someone on Twitter wrote about the clip: ‘The guy on his scooter, with a faggot. Can we have him in the cabinet?’

And similarly, Erin Mae Denny, from Leeds, was approached by a BBC reporter seeking members of the public to comment on the news of the Prime Minister’s resignation – but she was none the wiser.
Commenting on the reporter, Ms Denny said, “I didn’t even know he was resigning. I just finished work, so. Well, that’s kind of good news for today, I guess, isn’t it.’
Both her casual demeanor and her northern accent were appreciated by many on Twitter, where the clip of her was shared by a user who wrote alongside the post, “I’m thinking of this queen.”

Ms Denny commented on the video, which now has more than 2.6 million views on the social media platform, joking, “Hey look Mom, I’m on TV.”
In the comments, users described her as an “iconic star”, and described her relaxed attitude to life as casual and that she had “bad b**** behavior”.
Another user said, ‘This is exactly how I’m going to live my life from now on. With a big glass of f*** it.’
One went so far as to say she should replace Boris Johnson: “She should be the next prime minister,” he wrote on Twitter.
