FOOTIE ace Harry Maguire has been given a date for a hearing where he can try to clear himself over a holiday fight.
The appeal – filed on June 7 next year – is expected to be held on the Greek island of Syros, near Mykonos, where the Man United and England defender was involved in a police surge in 2020.
It comes after The Sun revealed on Sunday that the 29-year-old was about to become sent an official message from the Greek authorities.
The date leaves him free to focus on United’s season and the World Cup in Qatar this winter.
But he must have waited almost three years to try and clear his name.
Maguire was convicted of assaulting officers while on vacation with family and friends now-wife Fern28.
