BILLIONAIRE Sir Jim Ratcliffe yesterday criticized the Tories for failing to crack down on immigration after Brexit.
The chemicals magnate And Man united co-owner was a prominent supporter of leave the European bloc.
But talk to Sky NewsHe insisted the move “didn't go as people expected” as the referendum was “largely about the issue immigration“.
The businessman also criticized the Tories about their dealings with the economysaying the country needs to “get a little sharper on the business front” and needs “competitive energy.”
On Labor leader Sir Keir StarmerSir Jim said he had “no questions” and that he would do a “very good job in running the country”.
Sir Jim met with the Work boss at Old Trafford last weekend to discuss the redevelopment of the stadium.

But when asked whether his global chemicals company Ineo would donate to Labour, he said: “We are apolitical at Ineos, we just want a successful manufacturing sector in Britain.
“We will discuss this with both governments.”
The Sun reported this week how Ratcliffe saw his fortunes decline with £6 billion in the Sunday Times Rich List.
The petrochemical billionaire was the biggest loser the list top ten of this year.
Sir Jim came in second place and was worth just under £30 billion on the 2023 list.
This year, however, he has fallen to fourth place in the overall list.
