State Highway 53, which leads to the center of Martinborough’s town, has been closed due to an accident.
Kitchner Street is closed to traffic from the intersection with Princess Street as emergency services respond to crashes.
Police crashed at 3:15 pm, but were not seriously injured. Ambulances and fire departments also attended.
