TWO huge asteroids will blast past Earth today and tomorrow.

NASA says Asteroid (2016 CZ31) is “coming close” this Friday, followed shortly by the massive Asteroid 531944 (2013 CU83) on Saturday.

The current space rock up close would be up to 721 feet wide.

That makes it more than twice the size of the Statue of Liberty which stands at 305 feet.

Friday’s asteroid will pass us late tonight and is expected to remain more than a million miles away.

It is expected to speed past at more than 34,000 miles per hour.

Asteroid 531944 (2013 CU83) is the larger of the two and is expected to close in on Saturday night.

NASA says Saturday’s large space rock could be up to 3,500 feet wide, making it more than three times the size of the Statue of Liberty.

It should be about 4.3 million miles from Earth this Saturday night.

That may sound far away, but it’s actually very close in the grand scheme of space.

Therefore, NASA still has to mark it as a “close approach” and keep an eye on its movements.

If an asteroid comes within 4.65 million miles and is larger than a certain size, it is considered “close” and “potentially dangerous” by cautious space agencies.

However, there is no need to panic about Saturday’s asteroid.

It is expected to overshoot us at just over 13,000 miles per hour.
