Matt Damon is the latest celebrity on the receiving end of South Park’s caustic sense of humor.
The cartoon series for adults got a blow to the Oscar-winning actor cringey cryptocurrency ad in the latest movie made for TV, South Park The Streaming Wars Part 2.
In Matt’s widely mocked commercial, the 51-year-old is seen talking to the camera compare buying crypto with humanity’s greatest achievementslike landing on the moon.
The Manchester by the sea actor then trots out the now immortal line: ‘Fortune is favors the brave.’

The plot of the two-part South Park film follows the evil Pi P, who plans to swap all Denver’s water for his own supply – which is contaminated with urine.
Titled The Streaming Wars, South Park is clearly making a barbed comment about the plethora of on-demand platforms, such as: Netflix and Amazon Prime.
And Pi Pi’s dastardly plans seem to come true when he enlists Matt’s help to whip the pee in a style very reminiscent of his crypto ad.
Matt wears a black t-shirt that says “Fortune Favors Matt” and praises the virtues of the pee. Not only does he see watering his plants with it, but he also showers in the urine. Bah.
“Fortune favors the brave,” Matt says. “And a brave person knows that pasta cooked in pool water tastes great.”
“Did you know that frozen pee can be a delicious summer treat,” he continues, gagging as he tries to take a bite of ice cream.
Matt isn’t the only famous face to get a skewer in the Paramount Plus movie, with Gwyneth Paltrow drink a cup full of puddles and Reese Witherspoon bobbing for apples in a barrel of the stuff.
