Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘cannot respond’ to bomb book | Royal | News

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have the Queen‘never complain, never explain’ mantra more than once since stepping down as full-time working royals. However, royal commentator Gareth Russell thinks: Meghan and Harry will refrain from correcting claims about explosives, answering allegations and rectifying events reported by Mr Bower in his newly published book entitled Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors.

Russell told Us Weekly, “You can’t respond to everything.

“If you go out to answer every book or every accusation, it will take up your whole day.

“You have no free time to devote to your own mental health and well-being.”

The expert added that people as famous as the Sussexes tend to be surrounded by “a lot of speculation”.

“And we know Harry likes to speak his own truth these days.

“So, if it’s not already top secret with the printer, he can go read Bower’s book and then go back and disprove certain things.”

Prince Harry and Meghan have yet to publicly respond to Bower’s claim.

Last week, upon arrival at United Nations headquarters in New York, the Duke of Sussex was asked a question about the 452-page book.

NOT MISSING

Voice of America reporter Margaret Besheer shared a clip on Twitter, where she can hear Harry asking, “Are you worried that Tom Bower’s new book will widen your rift with the royal family?”

The Sussexes seemed to glance briefly at the journalist, but when they heard the question, they walked straight ahead to attend the General Assembly plenary devoted to Nelson Mandela.

Mr Bower’s book explores Meghan’s life from childhood to the present, including her years as an actress and her arrival at the Firm.

One of the most extraordinary claims is that the author claimed the Duke and Duchess were involved in a “monumental feud” over later changed arrangements for Commonwealth Day service arrivals before bowing out of the Firm as senior royals in March 2020.

Other members of the royal family have also been struck by claims in Mr Bower’s book.

Camillaclaimed the author, before the birth of Meghan and Harry’s first child, joked about what color the baby’s hair might be, saying it would be funny if he had “ginger afro” hair.

While Clarence House did not comment on this claim, sources close to Camilla dismissed the claim as “nonsense”.

In addition, Bower claimed the Queen responded to the news that the Duchess of Sussex would not be traveling across the pond for Prince Philip’s funeral last April by telling her aides, “Thank God Meghan isn’t coming.”

Buckingham Palace did not reprimand, but a palace source said it was “unlikely” that the monarch was thinking of anything other than her husband at the time.

Meghan missed the funeral because she was heavily pregnant with Lilibet “Lili” Diana, born two months later.

Her husband Harry, on the other hand, traveled to Windsor to pay tribute to his grandfather.

And along with his wife, he sent a beautiful wreath dedicated to the late Duke of Edinburgh.
