The overall effect is “enhanced by the large designer bag she carries in her right hand”.

Meghan wore a stylish navy summer suit with a white handbag and black heels for the day's occasion.

Meanwhile, Harry wore a navy blue suit with an open blue shirt and black shoes.

Marquez reportedly told the couple about her personal admiration for Harry's mother, Princess Diana, according to Harper's Bazaar.

She added: “with a hint of a polite smile on her slightly drawn lips that conveyed a hint of caution or reserve.”

While Meghan's facial expression includes “a radiant, excited look in her eyes and a regal, symmetrical 'Duchenne' smile”.

“When she bursts out of the tunnel she seems happy to be there and excited for the tour,” Judi said.

“Her cheeks are plump, a sign of joy, and her bare arms seem almost ready for her trademark warm embraces, which will clearly be a regular feature of this visit.”

Harry and Meghan stayed with the Vice President for half an hour at the official residence to welcome Marquez and her husband Rafael with a gift.

They then visited the Colegio Cultura Popular, a local school for children.

Later they attended a theatre performance and a music and dance performance at the Plaza del Carnaval y la Cultura in San Juan de Pasto.
