Meghan ‘used wedding to build career’ because dad ‘knew guests better than she did’, says Bower | Royal | News

Meghan Markle’s marriage with Prince Harry including a star-studded guest list such as Oprah Winfrey and George and Amal Clooney. Royal author Tom Bower has since claimed that Thomas Markle told him that Meghan barely knew the Hollywood A-listers. Speaking to Palace Confidential on Mailplus, Mr Bower said: “Thomas Markle told me he knew the people at the wedding better than Meghan because he had filmed with them all at ABC and other studios.

Meghan and Harry tied the knot at St. George’s Chapel on May 19, 2018 during a much-publicized event.

But the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly have unseen footage from the day that they’re looking to share on Netflix.

NBC royal pundit Neil Sean has claimed that Netflix “thinks it’s a good idea” for the royal couple to release the footage with their own commentary.

On his YouTube channel, Mr Sean claimed: “What they look at as an idea is they go through their own wedding photos themselves and show unseen images on a big screen and then provide the commentary.

“I’m sure a lot of media will do that, but the basic idea is really this: their team has decided to look back on something if the public really likes them.

“Share a memory of the time when things were a little happier and the public seemed to bond with them.

“This is a very smart move if this reportedly goes through, as it would give us a very rare insight into a British royal wedding.”

It comes as Harry and Meghan are expected to relaunch their social media channels after royal viewers spotted a photographer following them on their visit to New York.
