MICKEY Rourke has told Piers Morgan on TalkTV that the US Secret Service came looking for him after his comments about Donald Trump.
The Hollywood legend was visited and warned six months ago after he publicly threatened to beat up the former president.
The hard nut actor and former boxerknown for hits like The Wrestler and Sin City, told Piers Morgan uncensored six months ago he had a surprise visit.
“What did they say?” Piers asked the Academy Award nominee.
“Was it because of something you said about President Trump?” asked Pier.
“Yes,” said the actor, adding that he was telling “the truth” about Trump.
“A lot. And that goes too far for me and so I have nothing more to say about nothing,” he said.
The 69-year-old was not afraid to share his candid thoughts about Trump publicly.
In 2019 he threatened to bang Trump “with a left hook” after making brutal claims about Rourke and his relationship with the late rapper Tupac.
He told Toofab: “[Trump] said some really nasty things about the two of us and you know what, it’s personal.
“There will come a day when he’s not president and we’ll bump into each other and you’ll feel me… a left hook for friends.”
It comes as the acting legend told Piers yesterday that “all this is not goodas he struggled to put the hell into words Putin has released.
He bellowed: “I wish there was some kind of bell ringing in his head or his heart and he would… wake up and just stop with all this shit†
“I don’t understand what he wants… all that shit isn’t right.
“They made me think he does really terrible, bad things.”
Visibly emotional, Rourke said, “I saw an image of a man looking at a ditch…and I put myself in his position…he was looking for his brother.”
But it everything became too much for Mickey who talked about a certain image that “disturbed me the most”.
He explained that it was an image of a man left with only a small gray kitten after a Russian strike slaughtered “five relatives” and trampled his house.
Rourke choked as he told the horror images and put on his sunglasses to cover the tears that streamed down his face.
Piers questioned Rourke during a visit to Putin in 2014, where he wore a T-shirt with the face of the tyrants on it.
But the actor was quick to set the record straight, slamming, “That was 2014 ok, I just want to make that clear.”
He explained how he visited Russia with a slew of other entertainers from the US, including actress Sharon Stone.
It was part of an entertainment event organized by the Russian president.
During the trip, Rourke told how Putin took him to a pediatric cancer hospital in St. Petersburg.
Here he said he saw a side of Putin that was “genuinely concerned” and “empathetic”.
The former boxer said it was “stunned”.
