There was some debate among gamers about whether Xbox Game Pass would include Black Ops 6. It remains to be seen if Microsoft will create a new tier in Xbox Game Pass that would include the new Call of Duty title, as this could be considered a premium. offer in some form.

Xbox president Sarah Bond recently said that all Microsoft games would appear on Game Pass. But the company is questioning whether it cannibalize sales of premium Xbox games without making enough money from Game Pass subscriptions. Each new Call of Duty title can generate hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars in revenue. Microsoft needs to tread carefully here, as it already saw the need to shave 1,900 jobs of the acquisition of Activision Blizzard and shutter of some studios also.
