Mike Tindall Refused Royal Request Before Marrying Queen’s Granddaughter Zara | Royal | News

The couple now share their home in Gloucestershire with their three children, Mia, seven, Lena, three, and Lucas, one.

Mike and Zara were originally introduced by Prince Harry during the Rugby World Cup in 2003 in Australia, where England walked away with the title.

Zara is the Queen’s granddaughter and 21st in line to the throne, but she has no official royal title.

Princess Anne chose not to give both Zara and her brother Peter Phillips a royal title when they were born.

Zara has since commented that she was “lucky” that her mother made that decision, as it allowed her to have a more normal childhood.
