A mother has been smitten after sharing a video of her daughter on “Chopping”.
The clip, posted to TikTok, showed the toddler waddling in a pair of silver, small-heeled slingback shoes, which she wore over a pair of mesh socks.
The woman was quickly mobbed by people in the comment section, with one writing, “Poor baby.”
“What are you playing with?” another questioned.
While a third wrote: “Poor little baby.”
“A way to break your baby’s ankle if she went over it,” wrote someone else.
“I can see you’re just trying to have fun showing us, but not really safe for baby’s feet,” added another.
As another blasted: “Damned ridiculous.”
“Absolutely disgusting, poor child,” another raged.
But the mother responded to the criticism, claiming they were Build-A-Bear shoes that she had tried on her baby as a joke.
“They ARE A BEAR SHOES THEY ARE SOFT AND HER HANDS WERE HOLD, thanks for all your concern,” she wrote.
And others stood on the mother’s side, with one writing, “Hahaha you wet wipes, I have no idea who this is like no other videos, but someone is clearly taking the weight of the kids with their arm/hand.”
“Can’t people see it’s a joke, Christ,” added another.
“I get all the hate speech IF she wore them every day… I’d love to put my girl’s bear shoes on just to laugh – but she’s 18 now,” weighed a third.
