A couple on a date who won the jackpot at the casino were followed home, shot and robbed.

Kim Chambliss and her boyfriend Val Delacruz thought it was their lucky night at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa and won a $3,000 jackpot.

But little did they know they were being targeted by a duo who watched them for two hours as they gambled at the slot machines and then stalked them as they drove to their Riverview home. Florida.

Doorbell camera footage showed two masked suspects, identified as Marcus Jenkins, 34, and Tristin Wright, 36, attacking the couple in their driveway shortly before 5 a.m. on Aug. 2.

One of the suspects walked forward and pointed a gun at one of the victims who lay terrified in front of the door.

Moments later, the second suspect appeared, brandishing his weapon.

“I ran and fell through the door and the other man came out and shot me again a third time in my left leg,” Delacruz said FOX 13.

The CCTV footage shows Delacruz pleading with the two men hovering over him after he is shot in both legs.

A neighbor went outside, and the two suspects fled in their car, but not before they made off with Delacruz's watch and jewelry, and Chambliss's purse.

Hillsborough County officers applied a tourniquet to Delacruz's wounds, including his right thigh.

“I lost so much blood,” he said. “If they hadn't done that, I wouldn't have survived.”

The couple said they only have one date night a month because they both work so hard, with Delacruz even joking that he needed to win the jackpot to cover his food and drink expenses.

“I hit and I hit the jackpot. And, you know, I was dancing,” he said of the night before it was ruined.

'How many people do they do that to?'

Chambliss, who was not injured, said they were “just average people” “having a good time.”

“And the fact that we didn't even realize that people were following us every step of the way is scary,” she said. “It's scary.”

Detectives are looking for a third suspect in the crime.

Delacruz said his doctors told him he might not be able to walk for six months.
