Dramatic footage shows the suspect being arrested in the municipality of São Paulo in Brazil’s São Bernardo do Campo after he tried to flee by car but crashed into three other vehicles.

Seven women reported the 36-year-old to authorities, alleging they had been tricked into lending him sums of money, with one of the alleged victims claiming he had borrowed £35,000 from her.

Investigators found that Renan had multiple profiles on dating apps, including Tinder, Happn, and Lovoo under the name Augusto Keller. G1.

His next move would be to borrow sums of money while claiming he was in financial trouble before disappearing.

Pucci believes there are more victims and has urged women who believe they have been scammed by Renan to come forward.
