Motorola has posted a teaser for the upcoming X30 Pro flagship smartphone. This is the same smartphone that will have the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset and a 200MP main camera sensor. Motorola may launch the X30 Pro as Motorola Frontier in markets other than China.
The teaser reveals that the Moto X30 Pro uses three different focal lengths for the camera system, a rare setup in the area of smartphones. The 35mm is the widest and matches the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra’s main camera, which I really liked in the reviews. Then you get a 50mm telephoto lens. This is about 2x on most other smartphones, but 1.4x on Moto. Finally, there is an 85mm long telephoto camera.
If you’re serious about DSLR photography, you know that the three focal lengths aren’t mistakenly selected. However, we do not know how well the lack of ultra-wide cameras will work for potential users.

Last month, Motorola made fun of a smartphone with a 200MP main camera, which will be released in July. We’re hoping for the long-awaited Motorola Frontier at this event, but Moto could have multiple smartphones with Snapdragon 8 + Gen1 and a 200MP camera.

Motorola Frontier uses Samsung’s 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor. This sensor can output 12.5MP or 50MP still images that support 8K video recording at 30fps. The frontier is also rumored to come with a curved 6.67 inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz. There is also a speculation of a 4,500mAh battery with a 60MP selfie camera and a wired 125W fast charge.
