A MYSTERY surrounds a body found in a pickup truck that was submerged in a canal Monday night.
The truck was found around 9 p.m. by a worker in southwest Miami-Dade, police said.

Divers surveyed the scene and entered the water, extracting an adult, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 197th Avenue and 192nd Street Southwest.
Police said the body was in poor condition, suggesting the body was found several days ago.
The victim’s identity has not been released as authorities want to notify his family.
Residents in the area told Local 10 News he was concerned when he learned that someone in the area had lost their lives because he had never seen anything like it before.
The Sun has contacted the Miami-Dade Police Department for comment.
‘SAMPLE’
Also in Florida a woman claimed her husband killed her elderly parents while she was out of the country.
Gabriela Lagos claimed that her husband, Guillermo Silva, 57, killed her parents two weeks ago at their Palm Beach home.
She said Silva recorded videos of her parents’ lifeless bodies, she reported WPTV†
“He said, ‘turn on the camera, turn on the camera, I want to show you something,'” Lagos told the publication.
“He was shooting videos for me to see my parents dead. I can not believe it. He’s a monster that he can do that to two older people.”
Lagos said Silva allegedly filmed the videos on her mother’s phone.
On July 2, Palm Beach County sheriffs found the bodies of a dead man and woman in a home.
The elderly man was found in the living room on his back with “severe blunt trauma to his face,” police said.
The woman was found naked in the back bedroom, positioned on the bed with “severe blunt trauma to her torso, arms and face.”
“I’m in a really bad dream,” said Lagos. “A nightmare. I can’t wake up.”
She said her mother and father were respectively 79 and 80 years old and had celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last month.
“They have a beautiful family. Many grandchildren. Lots of great-grandchildren,” she says.
“They took him as a son. They gave him everything. I don’t know why he did that. There is no explanation.”
