A VADER and his young son were found dead outside a car near a high school with no weapons at the scene.
Police found the bodies of 35-year-old Romo Guerra and 10-year-old Michael Romo Sandoval on Tuesday evening in a Los Angeles neighborhood.
Los Angeles Police Department responded to the event around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday.
The two were found outside a vehicle parked near William Tell Aggeler High School, Fox News reported.
The Los Angeles coroner’s office later identified the bodies as Romo Guerra and his 10-year-old son Michael Romo Sandoval.
There were conflicting reports that the two were trapped in the car and had to be recovered, but they were found nearby next to the vehicle, LAPD Deputy Chief Alan Hamilton told Fox News.
They were pronounced dead at the scene, Hamilton said.
Hamilton also said a homicide-suicide is a “working theory,” but the details surrounding the death are still unclear.
No weapons were found on the spot.
Someone has started a GoFundMe on behalf of the families.
“A tragic event has happened that has taken away two beautiful lives,” wrote organizer Melissa Lopez.
“Our family is grieving today. There are no words to say what we are going through.
“We ask for all the help you can offer and all the prayers you can send.”
This case is still under investigation.
