Samsung first offered Pro-level true wireless earbuds early last year with the Galaxy Buds Probut we’re finally expecting a sequel to launch next month alongside the foldable devices.
utilities, 9to5Google has claimed that the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro costs $229.99, citing a retail source. This is $30 more than the original launch price of the Galaxy Buds Pro in January 2021, although it would still be $20 cheaper than Apple’s AirPods Pro at launch.
The website was also able to confirm 24-bit audio support would be coming to the new Samsung earbuds. There’s no word on other features, though, but we’re expecting longer battery life, improved active noise cancellation and the return of 360-degree audio. We’re also hopeful that Google recently announced smart audio switching technology will appear, making for a more seamless dual-device experience.
Samsung won’t be short of competitors when it launches the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro on August 10, as devices like the Pixel Buds Pro, AirPods Pro and Samsung’s previous products all compete for your wallet.
