NEWCASTLE has made a £15 million bid for Paris Saint-Germain striker Arnaud Kalimuendo, according to reports.
The magpies are eager to strengthen their team this summer as they begin to take full advantage of their Saudi Arabian takeover.
Eddie Howe is looking for an alternative option to add to: Callum Wilson when it comes to who will lead the line for his side.
And according to The hard tackleyoung striker Kalimuendo has been identified as a player looking to bring in the Toon.
The 20-year-old attacker was successfully loaned to Lens last season and scored 12 goals in Ligue 1.
He would like to stay PSG and are starting to make waves in the first team, but the great talent of the French champions in the forward areas makes that very difficult.
