Rapper and actor Ice Cube has labeled Lil Wayne as the best rapper in the world, next to himself.
When asked to name his GOAT rapper, Ice Cube didn’t hesitate to give Lil Wayne his flowers.
“It’s hard to beat Lil Wayne,” Cube said during an interview on the podcast On The Guest List.
“His metaphors are otherworldly. As for lyrics and being able to make hits, you know. Has been copied all these years and in the end nothing but clones of Lil Wayne. So I’m just thinking, except myself. I’ve done so much for the culture, but um, yeah, yeah, he’s dope.”
