An NHS center was closed after two snakes were found in the waiting room.
One was believed to be pregnant grass snake and the other A poisonous viper.
After the snake crackers were spotted, officials closed the vaccination center in Cwm-Cou, West Walesand called on experts to remove them – only after naming them Cwm and Cou.
And Hywel Dda health A spokesperson for the board said: “Two additional visitors have come to our vaccination centre.”
They later added: “Cou has taken a break and is no longer in the building. Cwm is still at large.
“We hope to reopen as soon as possible.”
The snakes caused a stir online when one user wrote: “My worst nightmare.” Another said: “This is hisssterical.”
Snake enthusiast Geraint Hopkins from Llanelli added: “Beautiful grass snake.
'Probably a pregnant female. It is unlikely to bite, but it can exude a strong musk. If there is, there's usually more.'
