A Nigerian couple, Samuel and Joy Olorunfemi, welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, in June 2022, after 14 years of waiting.
Joy’s brother, Oshimai Abraham, shared the good news on Facebook. He wrote;
“IT’S LIKE A DREAM. Where do I even start? “This woman you see here is my immediate older sister. She was married and trusted God for the fruit of the womb since 2008.”
It’s been 14 solid years of trials, temptations, ridicule, disappointment, crying, crying and despair.
Men thought they had the last word during these 14 years. But Yahweh remembering Sarah has come to the people that He and He alone have the last word. He proved Himself in our lives by placing my dear sister with balanced twins (a boy and a girl).
Since the news of her delivery reached me since last Sunday, I am so overjoyed that I couldn’t even think of what to write and post. Now I fully understand the meaning of Psalm 126:1-3:
“When the LORD brought back the captivity from Zion, we were like that dream. Then our mouths were filled with laughter and our tongues with song; then said they among the nations, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD has done great things for us; of which we are happy.”
Indeed, what God cannot do does not exist and cannot exist. I beg for a joint cry two solid Hallelujah to Jesus Christ our Lord.
