A nine-year-old girl has died of a suspected stab wound in Lincolnshire.

Police were called to the scene in Fountain Lane, Boston around 6:20 p.m. Thursday have now launched a murder investigation.

The area has been cordoned off and we agents said they will be on the scene “in the near future.”

Lincolnshire Police said in a statement: “The young girl’s parents have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this incredibly difficult time.

“Her family will be supported by specially trained officers.
