That new color scheme for the Nothing Phone (2a) which the company started teasing a few days ago is now official. Ladies and gentlemen, meet the Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition. This is the Nothing product with the highest number of colors yet, as there are red, yellow and blue accents throughout, as you can see.

That said, transparency is still at the heart of the design, as you'd expect from Nothing. The Phone (2a) Special Edition “celebrates primary colors and their place within Nothing's brand identity,” according to the official press release.

While these three accent colors have been used individually in Nothing products before, they have never been side by side in this way before.

Adam Bates, Design Director at Nothing, said:

We are very happy to unveil the Phone (2a) Special Edition. The first product to explore our primary color palette; red, blue and yellow. The overall aesthetic nods to some of our design heroes of the past, while creating a new expression for a smartphone. Elevating a functional device into a striking work of art.

The Phone (2a) Special Edition is available today in limited quantities from Nothing's official website with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage for £349, €379, INR 27,999. On Saturday 1 June you can also pick one up in London, at the Nothing store in Soho.

It is identical to the Phone (2a) that has been available for a while, apart from the special color scheme of course. So it has a 6.7-inch 1080×2412 120 Hz AMOLED display, the Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC, a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP ultrawide, a 32 MP selfie snapper and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45 W wired charging . It runs Android 14.
