On Shop in good name at 50

From the unnameable to the unrecognizable, the workers at Dunedin’s Op Shop on St Andrew have seen it all for the past half century.

The company, run by Presbyterian Support Otago, turned 50 yesterday.

Volunteers and staff dressed in colorful clothes and enjoyed a cake in the shop to celebrate.

The shop was first managed by Mary Williamson, now 99, who cut the birthday cake yesterday.
