Police say the road has been closed and entertainment is underway.
One person was killed in a serious accident between two vehicles in Ashhurst on Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Ashhurst and Hillcrest Rds at approximately 6:55 am.
Police said the road has been closed and diversions have been put in place, while motorists should avoid the area.
