OnePlus entered the smartwatch segment in March of last year and no new ones from the company have arrived since then. However, the brand could be working on a new OnePlus Nord Watch that could be launched soon and the first look for the watch has been unveiled, suggesting that OnePlus could deviate from the round-dial approach.
Tipster Mukul Sharma has tweeted the screenshots of the upcoming ‘N Health’ app being developed exclusively for the Nord Watch. Furthermore, from the screenshot, we can see that the Nord Watch has a rectangular dial instead of the round dial that was featured on the OnePlus Watch.
The watch appears to have a metal frame with a crown on the right side. You can see there are six watch faces coming for the Nord Watch, and there’s also a “Custom Watch Face” feature, which lets you customize your watch face with photos from a connected device.

Apart from that, OnePlus’ upcoming smartwatch will come with a step counting feature and various sports modes such as outdoor cycling and outdoor walking. In addition, the basic functions of a smartwatch will all be there, including an SpO2 sensor, heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking capabilities.
In June, the smartwatch was spotted on the BIS certification website confirming its Indian launch. The Nord Watch could be a pocket-friendly smartwatch as the Nord series devices have always been the budget line of the Chinese brand.
