NEIGHBORS has been flooded for at least two weeks, leaving a trash can infested with maggots.

Residents called Lazy Binmen and alleged council officials ignored their plea to get rid of the trash.

It is believed that the trash in the dead end was dumped because a car was parked around the corner as a result of nearby road construction, blocking access to heavy trucks in the trash can.

However, residents said it was an excuse for trash and workers should have walked a short distance to collect trash cans on foot at Kirkries in West Yorkshire.

“Last week they missed the black trash and this week they missed the black and green, but this week someone’s brown trash is empty. Why come to one trash instead of the other trash? mosquito?”

Another resident said they moved all the trash cans for the next street, but ignored the dead end.

And they said they were afraid that the mice would soon come after the trash.

A spokesman for the Kirkries Council said: Unfortunately, these issues were caused by pressure on teams beyond our control, such as road construction.

“I understand that this can be a concern for residents and I want to ensure that affected people are working to empty the trash.

“We are planning to collect the trash cans early next week, so residents need to be ready to collect them, and we will also remove the excess trash in the bags that remain next to the trash cans.”

This week we talked about how one mother considered putting a padlock in a bottle after her cheeky neighbor continued to use the padlock.

The woman took her to Momsnet to complain about her situation and admitted that she had just recently moved to the area and remained shocked by the behavior of her neighbors.

“So I recently moved home, and my neighbor seems to be okay overall,” she started.

“I am a single parent and have one child. Our council collects recycle bins for one week and general waste the next week.”

She added that she doesn’t “always fill the Recycle Bin 100% with both collections”, so she only puts out the Recycle Bin every month.

Last week, the woman worked in four shifts, but didn’t recycle because she knew the trash could wasn’t full.
