A WOMAN who has been trolled for wearing Primark bras has insisted there is “no difference” between them and the store’s crop tops.
Makeup artist Roxie J often wears the bras as crop tops, but has been criticized by people for wearing lingerie outdoors.
But back in Primark, she set out on the bras and crop tops to show the difference — or lack thereof — between the two.
“This is just to make a point…” she said in a video on TikTok.
“Tell me what the difference is between this top here – this crop top that’s in the dress section – and these tops, which is in the lingerie part, right?
“Because I wear them as crop tops.
“I’ve been seriously given a stick with buying these because apparently they’re bras, but honestly I don’t see the difference – even the material looks the same.
“So, you know, educate yourself.”
She continued to insist that the “only difference” between the two is the cut of the top.
“One is more of a V-neck, more low cut and the other is more of a crew neck.”
Finally, Roxie stated, “The moral of the story is, just wear what the f**k you want and stop telling people what to wear and what not to wear.”
Primark’s wireless bralettes come in a set of three for £10, while the crop tops are £3 each.
The people in the comment section largely sided with Roxie, as they insisted on doing the same.
“I wear crop tops when it’s hot,” one wrote.
“I even go outside in my bra — it’s too hot to wear a top.”
“I wear the pj crop tops like regular tops,” added another.
While a third agreed, writing, “I wore my underwear sets on vacation like bikinis.”
“I have the ‘PJ’ version of the same style and always wear them as tops,” commented someone else.
“Absolutely no difference.”
However, others argued that there are differences between the two.
“The crop top should be a thicker material or double layer,” one wrote.
As another added, “One is a tad longer.”
“They have ribbed ones in the pj part, but they have a liner, so I’m wearing the pj version,” commented a third.
