PEOPLE have been shocked by a manicure they thought deserved to be shamed.

They compared the cosmetic flaw to 'a hairball that a cat has thrown up'.

Nail enthusiasts were slightly less enthusiastic after seeing the manicure on a forum.

While a few nails on the person's fingers turned out to be fine, the same couldn't be said for those on the ring finger.

A long, rocky synthetic material on the ring finger detracted from the bright, glittery design of the rest of the nails.

The long, gray stump emerging from their ring finger shocked viewers.

“I have a feeling spiders are going to come out,” said one commenter.

Others agreed that it reminded them of something nasty coming from an animal.

“It looks like a nasty hairball my cat threw up,” said another.

“You know those cool little water bugs that stick a pile of rocks to their butts?” asked a third.

“This is what this looks like.”

Some said the manicurist missed a few steps during their session.

While most women would love to have a stone on their fingers in the shape of a wedding ring, one viewer said this was an example of a stone gone wrong.

The joker explained that this wasn't the kind of 'rock' they would want.

“At least shape it and paint it; it's a whole stone!” they said.

Some thought the nail job was so bad it was dangerous.

“Looks moldy,” said one commenter.

Many were too stunned to say anything.

“What's actually happening?” one asked.

“I'm completely confused,” said another.

“What the hell is actually happening?” asked a third.

“Mother of God,” one viewer laughed.
