Planes collide at Heathrow Airport sparking massive response from emergency services

EMERGENCY services have rushed onto the tarmac at Heathrow Airport after two planes crashed into each other”.

The incident took place at 8pm tonight at the london hub which which handles over 80 million international passengers annually.

It’s believed that a Korean 777 clipped a Icelandair 767 while taxiing.

A passenger who is believed to be on board one of the planes wrote on Twitter: “Pretty sure we scrapped another plane with our wing tip while taxiing.

“We have been told that we are going back to the gate due to a technical issue.

“But that was 15 mins ago and we haven’t moved.”
