POCO, a Chinese phone maker, has confirmed the launch of the POCO Pad 5G in India. This new tablet from the company will be launched in India on August 23, 2024. This means that we are just a week away from the official launch of the POCO Pad 5G in India. It seems that it will be an affordable product that will rival the Redmi Pad Pro 5G in India. The photo shared by POCO shows that the tablet will come with a magnetic keyboard and a stylus.
It is interesting that affordable tablets are being sold with 5G support in India. To accommodate the 5G chipset, other specifications are being trimmed to keep the prices low.

POCO Pad 5G Features (Confirmed & Expected)
POCO Pad 5G will come with a large 12.1-inch display with support for 120Hz refresh rate. The display will support a peak brightness of 600nits and have an 8:5 aspect ratio. The screen will also have TUV Rheinland triple certification. POCO Pad 5G has already been launched for the global market. The specifications of the Indian and global variants are expected to be similar.

So, we can expect this tablet to get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The tablet will run on Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box. The POCO Pad 5G will also come with an 8MP front-facing as well as a rear-facing camera on the global variant.
It is likely to feature a 10,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired fast charging support. The tablet will support Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and Bluetooth 5.2.
