Rivers Police Command has begun investigating the gunmen who ambushed and killed the assistant superintendent in the Oyigbo local government area of Rivers.
Shooters attacked security forces on Wednesday, June 29, while he was returning from work in the Eugubo area.
Grace Ilinge Koko, a spokesperson for State Police Command, confirms the murder, reveals Friday’s police chief Evoca’s situation leading to an attack, and books the perpetrators.
Coco said.
“He finished his work around 9 pm and was back home when they ambushed him. We guarantee they will be caught.
“Already, the police secretary has ordered a full investigation of the case to confirm that the perpetrator has been identified and brought into the appointment.”
