RISHI Sunak had tea with voters today – as his beloved Southampton FC came close to winning the Championship play-off final.

The Prime Minister and his wife Akshata Murty were in Harrow, north-west London, having a drink with their constituents.

Mr Sunak chose not to go to Wembley see his team beat Leeds United 1-0despite it being only five kilometers away.

Aides denied it was fear of being booed by 80,000 fans that meant he averted the match.
