Prince Andrew was tricked during a morning drive in Windsor today, following reports that his infamous… BBC Newsnight interview will be filmed.
The 62-year-old royal, who was accompanied by another driver, was also photographed behind the wheel of his car.
Prince Andrew wore a casual blue shirt and slacks, shielding his eyes from the sun’s glare behind a pair of sunglasses during his outing.
His appearance follows reports this week that his Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis – widely regarded as one of the most disastrous in royal history – will be at the heart of a new film.

He was also seen behind the wheel of his car. The sighting came amid reports that Prince Andrew’s infamous Newsnight interview will be dramatized in a new movie called Scoop.

Titled ‘Scoop’, it will be based on the new book by Sam McAlister, the woman who took up the conversation with the Duke of York about his friendship with a pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Your Honor screenwriter Peter Moffat is writing the film adaptation, which will tell the story of how the interview came about.
New of the film sparked speculation about casting, leading to rumors that Hugh Grant could be cast as Prince Andrew.
But the Notting Hill actor, 61, scoffed at the rumors and took to social media to distance themselves from the role, writing on Twitter: “No, I am not. Never heard of it.’
Although Grant was put forward in a report by entertainment news site Deadline as a potential casting for Prince Andrew, there’s no word yet on who could play Ms. Maitlis.
Fans have taken to social media to put forward their own suggestions, including The Crown star Gillian Anderson, 53, and British actress Dame Emma Thompson, 63, among them.

During the now infamous conversation with presenter Emily Maitlis, Prince Andrew denied having had sex with Virginia Giuffrewho said she was trafficked by Epstein three times, including when she was 17 — still underage under US law.
The Duke denied having slept with Mrs Roberts, one of Epstein’s victims, three times, twice while she was underage.
He said a 2001 meeting did not take place when he spent the day with his daughter Princess Beatrice and took her to Pizza Express in Woking for a party.
The Duke also said the same alleged sexual relationship, which the American said started with the royal sweating heavily as they danced at London’s Tramp nightclub, was factually incorrect as he had a medical condition at the time that prevented him from sweating.

Andrew came under new pressure last month to talk to the FBI about his pedophile friend Jeffrey Epstein after Ghislaine Maxwell’s jail term.
Her victims say the Duke and other “cowardly” Epstein employees who “hide behind power and prestige” should be targeted by authorities.
Andrew has largely withdrawn from public life since he reached a £12 million out-of-court settlement this year with Epstein victim Virginia Roberts (now Giuffre), who accused the Duke of raping her. He has always denied the allegations.
