Prince Louis delights fans at Glastonbury with iconic appearance despite staying home | Royal | News

The iconic music festival was back at the weekend after a hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic and with it were festival-goers who can be relied on to bring eye-catching flags.

One featured Prince Louis’ iconic platinum anniversary photo covering his ears and screaming on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

Among the 200,000 in attendance, there was also a royal who was ‘spotted’ in the crowd – Her Majesty the Queen.

During Robert Plant’s performance at the festival, viewers joked that they saw the Queen in “disguise” because of a festival-goer who looked uncannily like the Queen.

The viewer who saw the resemblance posted a screenshot on Twitter, writing: “The Queen has appeared at Glastonbury to watch Robert Plant.

“That disguise isn’t fooling anyone.”

Other fans responded to the viral post, saying it was in fact the Queen’s daughter, Princess Anne.

The photo of Prince Louis, 4, was printed on a large flag and was first spotted at a Skunk Anansie performance on Saturday.

Television host Laura Whitmore posted a photo of the flag on her Instagram account with the caption “Best flag at Glasto”.
