PSG boss laughs at Chelsea FC’s interest in Kimpembe, but does not rule out a sale

ew Paris Saint-Germain boss Christophe Galtier claims he got the news of Chelseainterest in Presenl Kimpembe – but still can’t rule out a sale to the Blues.

Thomas Tuchel’s side remain excited about a new centre-back, despite the £33million signing of Kalidou Koulibaly after losing to Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen earlier this summer.

PSG reportedly wants around £50million for France international Kimpembe and the Les Parisiens coach has brazenly stated that he was surprised by the news.

About the deal, Galtier said: The team: “I have read everything that has been said about Kimpembe.

“We laughed about it together!”

However, Galtier admitted that he cannot guarantee Kimpembe’s future at PSG.

He added: “I like him – he’s a great central defender, but I don’t know what will happen.”

Chelsea has renewed interest in Jules Koude from Seville since missing Nathan Ake with a move for Matthijs de Ligt, complicated by Bayern Munich’s determination to sign the Juventus defender.
