Looking for new VR games coming out in April 2023? We’ve got you covered.

The past few months have been some of the busiest we’ve seen in VR’s recent history, with PlayStation VR 2 with more than 40 launch games. While many of these were enhanced ports of existing VR titles, new experiences such as Horizon Call of the Mountain, Gran Turismo 7 And Resident Evil village made it a busy time. While that calmed down in March, VR was not lacking for major releases and April looks like another strong month.

Here’s the full rundown of the major VR releases coming up Meta quest 2, PSVR 2PC VR and pico 4 April 2023.

Recent VR Releases – March 2023

Before we discuss the month ahead, here’s a list of VR games you can check out from March.

After a strong list of PSVR 2 launch games in february, march brought us much awaited titles. On PSVR 2 we saw exclusives like Before your eyes And The Dark Pictures: Switchback VRin addition to cross-platform games The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retaliation And The last worker.

In Quest 2 you could choose between Guards front line, Not for Broadcast VRSpirits of Tabor, Divine dueling, Ghost Signal: A Stellaris GameARK and ADE and Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom (also on Pico 4). Many new VR games for Quest have also arrived on Steam, in addition to PC VR exclusives such as Dizziness 2 And Formula Retro Racing — World Tour.

Everslaught Invasion – April (Quest)

Published by Fast Travel Games and developed by MobX Games, Everslaught Invasion offers an intense two-player co-op experience. Fast Travel Games has confirmed to UploadVR that the game will be released this month, with a final date to be confirmed later.

As one of three playable classes, you’re tasked with taking down hordes of Corrupted enemies and gradually building up your class skills and weapons. It also comes to the HTC Vive XR Elitethough a release date remains unconfirmed.

Creed: Rise to Glory – Championship Edition – April 4 (PSVR 2)

A remastered version from 2018 Creed: Rise to Glorythe Championship edition looks like a major upgrade to the original game. Next new story content based on Creed III, Survios confirms it will feature big visual upgrades such as 4K/HDR support with foveated rendering, along with haptic feedback and cross-platform multiplayer.

Across The Valley – April 6 (PC VR and PSVR 2)

Always wanted to look after a VR farm? Using a hand-drawn art style, upcoming sim Across the valley task you with managing the fields while taking care of the livestock through mini-games, use your winnings to expand the farm.

Half-Life 2: Episode Two VR Mod – April 6 (PC VR)

Half-Life 2 - Episode Two VR Mod

Equivalent to half-life 2 and episode one, Half Life 2: Episode 2 now joins both games with its own VR mod. Developed by the Source VR Mod Team, it is a free mod that offers full room-scale VR with motion controls, new weapon interactions, comfort options like motion vignettes, and more. However, you must own the base game to use it.

Gambit! – Apr 6 (Quest, PC VR)

Yes, we know – this is not the first time Gambit! is on one of these lists. XREAL Games’ co-operative VR heist-shooter previously had a release date of May 2022, before being moved to December and then pushed back just one day before release.

However, the game will now release this week on April 6 for Quest and PC VR, with full cross-play support from day one.

Violators – April 13 (Quest, Pico, PC VR)

Developed by Hyper Dash studio Triangle Factory, Offenders is a 5v5 tactical VR shooter reminiscent of Rainbow Six Siege and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Split between Enforcers and Revolters, there’s a strong emphasis on verticality, allowing you to climb walls to find various infiltration points.

Kill It With Fire VR – April 13 (Quest 2, PC VR)

Previously released for flat screen platforms in 2020, Kill it with fire VR is a first-person action game about taking down spiders and dealing heavy collateral damage. First announced in February, this is a separate release from the Steam game on the flatscreen, meaning owners of the original release will need to buy it again. Original PSVR and PSVR 2 versions will also be released later this year, although a specific release date has not yet been confirmed.

A Knight in the Attic – April 13 (Quest, PC VR)

Developed by Mighty Yell, A Knight In The Attic is an adventure game with a medieval twist. Played like a board game in your grandmother’s attic, you must guide Guinevere to save Camelot from the evil Mordred, guiding them through puzzle-packed levels.

Amid Evil VR – April 20 (Quest, PC VR)

Influenced by classic 3D shooters, In the midst of evil VR directly adapts the original 2019 flat screen PC release. Expect to see a promising seven episodes with different settings, enemies, magical weapons and more The Black Labyrinth DLC will arrive for this VR version at a later date, along with a PSVR 2 release later.
