The Queen traveled to Scotland with other members of the royal family before a week-long traditional event.

Due to concerns about her health, her appearance north of the border was not confirmed.

A 96-year-old woman has reduced public involvement, including the celebration of Platinum Jubilee, due to mobility issues.

The Queen traveled north today and began her Scottish tour in Edinburgh with a historic key ritual.

She was seen smiling when she was handed the key to the city and welcomed by the “Ancient and Genetic Kingdom of Scotland”.

The salute of guns from the walls of Edinburgh Castle coincided with a formal military parade to commemorate the opportunity.

Today’s event kicks off what is known as “Royal Week” in Scotland and “Holyrood Week” elsewhere.

Engagement allows the royal family to engage with many people and communities who have made “irreplaceable commitments to legitimate purposes” and emphasize Scottish culture and traditions.

The Queen was joined by her youngest child, Edward, and his wife, Sophie, known as the Earl of Forfar while in Scotland.

Known as Count Rossie of Scotland, Charles and Princess Royal will all participate in a series of public activities in Scotland over the next few days.

However, Andrew, known as the Earl of Inverness in Scotland, no longer carries out his official duties and is no longer involved.

This trip took place after the recent Platinum Jubilee celebration for the Queen, where she promised to continue to serve the country “to the best of my ability supported by my family.” ..

For the past few years, His Majesty has traveled extensively in Scotland during Royal Week. This includes a visit to housing development for veterans, a visit to children at the Royal Hospital for sick children in Glasgow, and the opening of a Technology and Innovation Center at the University of Strathclyde.
