Defending champion Max Verstappen looks set to walk away with the 2022 Formula 1 championship. Another Montreal win – his fifth in six races – extended his lead to 46 points over teammate Sergio Perez and 49 over Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.
When is it?
The 2022 British Grand Prix will run from Friday July 1 to Sunday July 3.
What time does it start?
Friday practice and qualifying have been done and dusted off so that we leave only the British Grand Prix itself, which is at 3pm on Sunday 3rd July.
What TV channel is it on?
Sky Sports F1 has almost exclusive live coverage rights in the UK this year and indeed for the next few with their usual excellent team.
However, the British Grand Prix is the only race that Channel 4 also has live coverage of.
Both Sky and Channel 4’s coverage of qualifying starts on Saturday at 2:10pm, and the build-up to the race itself starts on Sunday from 1.30pm on both channels.
