After weeks of teasers, Realme has finally announced it GT Neo 5 SE in China. The new device shares some of its key specs with the mainstream GT Neo5 although with three main differences in the chipset, camera and battery departments.
Realme GT Neo 5 SE brings a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 px and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. There’s a 16 MP selfie camera in the cutout and an optical fingerprint scanner under the screen.
GT Neo 5 SE is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest 7-series chipset – the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 in addition to up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The camera department has a 64 MP main sensor alongside an 8 MP ultra-wide module and a 2 MP microscope lens.
The other notable difference between the GT Neo 5 and the new SE model is in battery capacity and charging speeds. The SE model offers a capacity of 5,500mAh versus 5,000mAh on the GT Neo 5 and charges at 100W speeds compared to the GT Neo 5’s 150W solution. The software side is handled by Realme UI 4.0 on top of Android 13.

Realme GT Neo 5 SE comes in Blue and Black colors. Prices in China start at CNY 2,099 ($305) for the 8/256 GB version and top out at CNY 2,799 ($406) for the 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage version. Open sales in China will start on April 10.
