A retired ophthalmologist’s health “deteriorated abruptly” after actress Gwyneth Paltrow bumped into him on a ski slope, a court heard yesterday.
Dr. Terry Sanderson, 76, was said to have been a “highly functioning, energetic person” before the collision.
But neuroradiology specialist Wendell Gibby said he later “suffered from interactions and had difficulty multitasking.”
He said: “Terry had been a very high-functioning, energetic person. He did everything every day.
“Meeting groups, wine tasting, to skivolunteer work.
“But after his accident he abruptly deteriorated and a lot of the activities he used to do he stopped doing, like dancing, for the most part his skiing activities.
“His personal interactions with his children and grandchildren suffered and he had difficulty multitasking.
‘He would DIY store and forget why he was there.
He concluded that Dr. Sanderson “displayed the hallmarks of a traumatic brain injury”.
The doctor wants £245,000 compensation for the Park City accident, Utah2016.
Paltrow50, insists he hit her and is suing him.
