He said people often tweet him asking if the romance lasted.

Comic Gervais, 61told BBC Radio 4 Extra: “On Twitter people still ask me if they are still together and I don’t want to tell them.
“I always knew it was going to be a happy ending because all my favorite things had romantic elements.
“What people liked is that they were very ordinary and a ray of sunshine in each other’s world.
“People wanted them to get together.
